On a cold January day in Beloit, Wisconsin, the life of a young boy was tragically cut short. Five-year-old Austin Ramos Jr., a Hispanic male, was riding in the back seat of his father's car on January 22, 2016, when gunfire erupted. A bullet struck the young boy, and he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. The shooting was a senseless act of violence that shook the community and set in motion a multi-state investigation to bring those responsible to justice.
