Jaiden Benitez, a 20-year-old from Janesville, Wisconsin, was shot and killed on April 5, 2024, in Beloit. The shooting occurred near the 1300 block of Nelson Avenue while Benitez was in his vehicle with a passenger. Reports indicate that two suspects approached the vehicle and brandished firearms, leading to the fatal shooting of Benitez.
