In the winter of 1981, a 26-year-old White male named Donald Lee Rains was working at a Radio Shack in the Beloit Plaza Mall in Beloit, Wisconsin. On January 28th, his life was tragically cut short, becoming the final victim in a terrifying spree of violence that had gripped the region. His death, along with that of his 21-year-old co-worker Richard Boeck, marked the end of a multi-day rampage that left a total of six people dead across two states.
