On May 5, 2021, the life of Jan Valerie Hogoboom Hyatt, a 37-year-old White female from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, was tragically cut short. Born on June 27, 1983, at Cherry Point Naval Hospital in North Carolina, Jan's early life was shaped by her father's service in the Marine Corps. The family later relocated to Madison, Wisconsin, in 1985, where she would spend her formative years.
