In Beloit, Wisconsin, the life of Gregory Xavier Ashford, Sr., a 32-year-old man, was cut short on the evening of Thursday, December 26, 2024. The incident that led to his death unfolded in the 1200 block of Oak Street, where authorities responded to reports of a shooting just before 7:40 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered two victims who had been shot.
