On the night of February 10, 2022, Krystal Tucker, a 31-year-old Black woman, was shot and killed while working at the Brownstone Social Lounge in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Tucker was the executive assistant and a server at the lounge and was working at the door when a patron who had been denied entry opened fire. Two other employees, both 23-year-old men working as security, were also injured in the shooting but survived.
