Vanessa Rheanne DeHerrera, a 26-year-old woman from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was killed on the night of August 8, 2026, in a double shooting on the city's south side. Milwaukee police were called at about 9:40 p.m. to the 2100 block of West Pierce Street, near South 21st Street, where DeHerrera and 29-year-old Scott Bucholz had both been shot. Officers found both victims suffering from fatal gunshot wounds, and they were pronounced dead at the scene.
