On a summer day in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 42-year-old Okeyin Riles, a Black female, was tragically cut short. On July 14, 2022, she and her 19-year-old daughter, La'Dasia Porter, were shot and killed inside a residence near West Ring and North 6th streets.
