In the early morning hours of January 9, 2022, the life of 37-year-old Arturo Barrios-Romero was cut short in Mount Vernon, Washington. A Hispanic/Latino male, he was at a gathering in an apartment on Stanford Drive when the fatal event unfolded. The get-together was an after-hours continuation of a night that began at a local drinking establishment.
