On the evening of March 17, 2025, a young Hispanic man named Alan Noel Mora Gomez, aged 18, was at a Chevron gas station in Mount Vernon, Washington, at the intersection of East College Way and North Laventure Road. Tragically, his life was cut short when he sustained a fatal gunshot wound. First responders arrived at the scene to find Gomez injured and administered first aid until medics could take over. He was then rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for advanced medical care.
