On a summer evening in Renton, Washington, the life of 34-year-old Aaron Coe, a Black male, was cut short by gunfire. On July 9, 2022, police responded to reports of a shooting in the 200 block of Williams Avenue South. Upon their arrival, they discovered Coe unconscious and bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
