Thomas Andrew Bell, a 60-year-old male from Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on January 14, 2024. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was a 1981 graduate of Milwaukee Boy's Tech, where he was a champion swimmer. He also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts. A passionate entrepreneur, he was the founder and President of Nature's Mulch and Landscape Supply.
Before this, he had spent 25 years as a local grocery manager and for over 20 years, he ran a landscape company that he started with his son, Anthony.
He was a dedicated family man, survived by his wife of 40 years, Lynne, his son Anthony, and his daughter Brittany. He took great pride in seeing his children graduate from college. His greatest happiness came from his three grandchildren, with whom he shared a close and loving bond. An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, he enjoyed watching games with his loved ones and found peace spending time on his boat at the lake. He was also well-known in his neighborhood for putting on a large and impressive fireworks display every Fourth of July.
A celebration of his life was held on January 20, 2024, at Owen Funeral Home in Jeffersontown. In his final act of generosity, he gave the gift of sight through the donation of his corneas.
