Michael Wayne Bosse, a 47-year-old male, was fatally shot in his Shively, Kentucky home on May 6, 2017. The incident unfolded on Derby Day afternoon at his residence in the 1700 block of Nobel Place. An altercation at the home, which was divided into apartments, preceded the shooting. Bosse had reportedly informed a tenant who was renting his basement that the living arrangement was not working out and they needed to leave. It was during this confrontation that he was shot.
