There, they found 22-year-old Michael “Mikey” Christian suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Despite the efforts of a neighbor who rushed to his side, attempting to administer first aid and CPR, Christian was pronounced dead at the scene. This neighbor later recounted to reporters that he had come face-to-face with a man whose face was covered and who appeared to be carrying a rifle moments before discovering the gravely wounded Christian.
