Billy Ray Walls III, a 28-year-old deputy sheriff from Nicholasville, Kentucky, tragically lost his life on November 13, 2001. Walls was serving with the Jessamine County Sheriff's Department at the time of his death. On that fateful day, he, along with Captain Chuck Morgan and another deputy, was attempting to serve a warrant for making a terroristic threat.
