An attentive and caring 29-year-old woman, Amanda Ceaberry Lee Ross, had her life cut short in a tragic act of violence on the morning of September 11, 2009. A resident of Lexington, Kentucky, Amanda was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Opera House Square in the downtown area of the city. Her death was not a random act, but rather the culmination of a period of fear and stalking that she had endured.
