On a tragic evening in Lexington, Kentucky, the life of 32-year-old Lakeisha Renee Hill, a Black/African American woman, was cut short. On April 20, 2023, police responded to a shooting in the 400 block of Chestnut Street. At the scene, they discovered Hill and a man, later identified as 43-year-old Timonte Harris, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
