In the late summer of 2015, the life of 17-year-old Jeremy Joseph Dunn was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. On the evening of Saturday, August 22, police responded to a report of a shooting in the 4100 block of Glen Hill Manor Drive in the Valley Station area. There, outside the Glen Hill Manor Apartments, they found the young male deceased.
The Jefferson County Deputy Coroner later confirmed that Jeremy Dunn had died from a single gunshot wound.
At the time of the initial investigation, the Louisville Metro Police Department had not identified a motive for the shooting, and no suspects were immediately named. The lack of information left a community searching for answers and a family grappling with a sudden and violent loss.
In the days that followed, Jeremy's family remembered him as a generous and happy person with a 'bubbly personality' who could light up a room.
