In the late hours of a Wednesday night, transitioning into the early moments of Thursday, November 8, 2018, the life of 18-year-old Robert S. Biggers, Jr. was tragically cut short. The young man, known to friends and family as 'ChiChi,' was in an apartment building on Broadleaf Drive, near Richmond Road in southwest Louisville, when the sound of at least three gunshots shattered the midnight quiet.
