In the early hours of a Saturday in March 2017, the tranquility of Blue Lick Park in Louisville, Kentucky, was shattered by the discovery of a car engulfed in flames. First responders were called to the scene in the 4100 block of Mud Lane just after midnight on March 18th. Once the fire was extinguished, a grim discovery was made in the backseat of the vehicle: the body of 51-year-old Cleveland Curtis Pope.
