In Louisville, Kentucky, a young life was tragically cut short in the autumn of 2023. Donovan Lee Andre Reese, a 19-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on the afternoon of Thursday, October 26, 2023. The incident occurred near the intersection of 27th and West Kentucky Streets in the Parkland neighborhood. First responders found Reese at the scene with a gunshot wound.
