In the summer of 2017, the life of 20-year-old Deion I. Kennedy was cut short in a violent encounter in Louisville, Kentucky. On the evening of August 5th, Kennedy was found inside his car in the parking lot of a Walmart on Outer Loop, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Witnesses at the scene reported hearing the sound of several gunshots ring out at approximately 7:30 p.m.
