In a tragic turn of events on a Saturday afternoon in October 2017, the community of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, was struck with the devastating loss of a promising young life. Elijah 'EJ' Austin, a 14-year-old male, died from a gunshot wound in what authorities have described as a tragic accident.
