In the early moments of a cold January morning in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, the life of 20-year-old Corvyan Keante Thomas, Jr. was brought to a violent and tragic end. Just after midnight on January 24, 2019, at a residence on Bethel Street, Thomas was fatally wounded, having suffered multiple gunshots. Another young man, only 19 years old, was also struck by the gunfire, sustaining an injury to his leg but surviving the brutal encounter.
