On a Saturday evening in Bardwell, Kentucky, the life of 52-year-old Kelly D. Clanahan, a white female, was tragically cut short. On August 11, 2018, Clanahan was fatally shot inside a residence approximately three and a half miles north of the town. Another individual, 42-year-old Harold Doug Compton of Grand Rivers, Kentucky, was also shot and critically injured during the same incident.
