In the quiet town of Mayfield, Kentucky, a heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded on December 20, 2020, ending the life of 35-year-old Ashley Pierceall Milliken and her family. The devastating event, which also claimed the lives of her two young sons, 13-year-old Kjae and 8-year-old Kycohn, was the result of a violent act committed by her husband, 41-year-old Kyle Milliken.
On that Sunday morning, law enforcement was called to the family's residence on Smiths Lane, where they discovered the
four family members, all deceased from gunshot wounds. The investigation by the Kentucky State Police quickly pointed towards a murder-suicide. Detectives concluded that Kyle Milliken shot his wife and their two children before turning the gun on himself.
