In the early morning hours of February 28, 2016, the life of 22-year-old Lauren Brooke Alexander of Mayfield, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. A young mother, she was at her home with her two-year-old son and two-month-old daughter when a man kicked in her front door with such force that the deadbolt was dislodged.
