Eduardo "Eddie" Gilberto Figueroa, a 31-year-old Hispanic male from Acworth, GA, tragically lost his life on August 7, 2021. Eduardo was found dead at a home on Mohawk Trail in Acworth around noon. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office reported that Eduardo had arrived at the residence for a child custody visit. The home belonged to the parents of Nicholas Mimms, a 32-year-old resident of Powder Springs, GA, who was in a relationship with the mother of Eduardo's child.
