In the final days of November 2021, a tragedy began to unfold on Interstate 264 in Louisville, Kentucky, that would cut short the lives of a young woman and her unborn child. Twenty-year-old Shania Lee Summers, a Black female, was a passenger in a car on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, when another vehicle pulled alongside and its occupants opened fire.
