In the winter of 2022, the life of 39-year-old Stephen Bryant Jenkins of Clinton, Tennessee, was cut tragically short in a violent encounter that left authorities with more questions than answers. On the evening of Wednesday, February 16, Jenkins was left at the emergency room of the University of Tennessee Medical Center by individuals in a private vehicle. He was suffering from at least one gunshot wound and, shortly after his arrival, was pronounced dead.
