On October 1, 2024, at approximately 10:15 p.m., a tragic incident occurred in the Lonsdale area of Knoxville, Tennessee. Carlos Cozart Yarbrough, a 41-year-old resident of Knoxville, was fatally shot in a parking lot near the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Pascal Drive.
