On a Saturday evening in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 30-year-old Angelina Patrick, a Black female, was tragically cut short. On September 26, 2020, at approximately 6:15 p.m., a double shooting occurred at the intersection of South 42nd Street and West Broadway in the Shawnee neighborhood. Patrick was struck by gunfire and rushed to University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead from her wounds.

A second individual, a male, was also wounded in the shooting. His injuries were not ...
