In a tragic incident in Louisville, Kentucky, a three-year-old girl named Aubree Goss died on November 21, 2024, from what police described as a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The event occurred in an apartment in the Fern Creek area. Aubree was a female.
According to police reports, Aubree's father, 29-year-old E'Monta Goss, had placed a loaded handgun under a couch before he fell asleep. He was awakened by the sound of a gunshot and discovered his daughter with a gunshot wound.
Aubree was transported to Norton Children's Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
E'Monta Goss was arrested in connection with his daughter's death and has been charged with second-degree manslaughter and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
