In Louisville, Kentucky, on the evening of July 4, 2015, the life of 64-year-old Jaundora Shoulders, a Black female, came to a tragic and abrupt end. Inside her home in the Chickasaw neighborhood, near the corner of 40th and Kentucky streets, she was shot and killed. The incident that unfolded was not a mystery for law enforcement, as the initial report came from the perpetrator himself.
