In the late summer evening of August 24, 2021, the community of Hickory, Kentucky, was shaken by a fatal shooting. The life of 28-year-old Darian Williams of Mayfield was tragically cut short on Makenzie Circle. Around 6:35 p.m., dispatchers at Kentucky State Police, Post 1, began receiving calls about gunshots near the local apartment complexes.
