In the early morning hours of July 31, 2023, violence erupted in Louisville's Deer Park neighborhood, forever altering the lives of several families. Thirty-one-year-old Ricky Kemp, a male, was caught in a triple shooting that occurred around 3 a.m. in the 1500 block of Bardstown Road. When Louisville Metro Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered three individuals, two men and one woman, suffering from gunshot wounds.
