In the heart of downtown Louisville, on a spring morning, the life of 48-year-old Nathaniel Hill was tragically cut short. On May 2, 2019, Hill was shot multiple times under an overpass in the 400 block of Jefferson Street, near the Wayside Christian Mission. He was rushed to University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead just after 11:30 a.m.
The Louisville Metro Police Department's homicide unit immediately began an investigation into the fatal shooting.
