In the autumn of 2014, the life of 62-year-old Morris Rubel Beasley came to a tragic end in Louisville, Kentucky. On that Thursday evening, police were called to a home that doubled as a business, a place where Morris fixed transmissions in the garage and his wife, Cynthia, handled tax
services. Inside, they discovered the bodies of both Morris and 60-year-old Cynthia Beasley. The investigation determined that Morris Beasley had shot his wife before taking his own life.
The events leading up to the murder-suicide paint a picture of a relationship in turmoil. Court records indicated a history of marital strife, with Morris Beasley having filed for divorce in 2010.
