In the early morning hours of Sunday, October 3, 2021, the life of 18-year-old Alexis R. Jenkins was tragically cut short in Richmond, Kentucky. A Lexington teenager, Jenkins was found with a gunshot wound shortly before 3 a.m. at the RC Conference Hall located on the Eastern Bypass. The events of that night unfolded as Richmond police were dispatched to the conference hall following reports of numerous shots being fired in the area.
