In the fall of 2015, the community of Richmond, Kentucky, was shaken by the loss of one of its own. Senior Patrol Officer Daniel Neil Ellis, a 33-year-old dedicated member of the Richmond Police Department, succumbed to a fatal gunshot wound on Friday, November 6, 2015.
