On a Tuesday night, October 5, 2021, the life of Steven Q. Vanover, Jr., a 46-year-old White/Caucasian male from Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. Responding to a report of a shooting at approximately 10:30 p.m., Louisville Metro Police Department officers made their way to the 3800 block of Blevins Gap Road. In this area, not far from the natural landscape of Jefferson Memorial Forest, they found Vanover unresponsive. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead ...
