In the Russell neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, a 34-year-old man named Kevin Djuawn Ardis lost his life in a fatal shooting that occurred on the evening of January 25, 2024. The incident took place around 7 p.m. in the 2100 block of West Muhammad Ali Boulevard. First Division officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department were dispatched to the scene following reports of a shooting and found Ardis with a gunshot wound.
