A woman goes missing, her body is found 4 days later
On December 24, 1979, 20-year-old Brenda Joi Bancroft was last seen alive after leaving her parents' home in Virginia Beach. She was driving her 1978 orange Datsun B-210 and attended a Christmas party at Admiral Nicks Restaurant in Norfolk. Brenda never returned home, and her family filed a missing persons report. Four days later, on December 28, 1979, her body was found in the 500 block of Spring Lake Crescent, not far from her residence. The medical examiner determined that she had been suffoc ...Read More
