Fishermen discover bones in a creek
In the spring of 1995, a grim discovery was made in the serene setting of a creek near the Owls Creek Golf Course in Virginia Beach, Virginia. On April 18th, fishermen stumbled upon skeletal remains, setting in motion an investigation that would uncover a story of a life cut short. The remains were later identified as those of Elizabeth D. Whitehead Bryant, a 33-year-old white female who had vanished two years prior.
