An elderly woman is found beaten to death
On the evening of Friday, July 15, 1988, just as the sun was beginning to set, Anastasia Christou, a small, 4-foot-11-inch white female, returned to her home in the 300 block of 25 Half Street in Virginia Beach, a quiet residence just three blocks from the Atlantic Ocean.
