2 women, in town for a convention, are found murdered in Chesapeake Bay
The unsolved murder case of Christine Pilczak, a 26-year-old woman from Virginia Beach, remains a tragic mystery. On August 19, 1983, Christine Pilczak and her friend, Joan Zwingman, were found dead in the Chesapeake Bay. The two women had been out earlier in the day, and it is believed they encountered their assailant while on a boat.
