A woman is murdered; her body is placed in a car and set on fire On July 16, 1985, 20-year-old Rafaella G. Bryant was found murdered in Virginia Beach, Virginia. At around 5:30 a.m., authorities responded to a car fire on First Court Road. After extinguishing the flames, they discovered Bryant’s body inside the vehicle, a green 1972 Dodge Swinger.
