A young woman is found dead in her apartment
On June 23, 1974, what should have been another ordinary summer weekend at the Virginia Beach oceanfront turned into a scene that would haunt the city for decades. Inside a small apartment in the 2500 block of Arctic Avenue, Beverly Christensen, a 24-year-old White female from Virginia Beach, VA, was found dead, her life abruptly ended behind the closed door of a place that should have been safe.
