A grocery store employee is murdered during a robbery
On a Thursday afternoon, February 22, 1990, tragedy struck the Fil-Am Grocery Store in the Providence Square Shopping Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Annunciacion Lapio Imperial, a 56-year-old Asian woman, was working alone as the evening clerk when she was brutally murdered between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. The motive for this violent act appears to have been robbery.

At the time of her death, Mrs. Imperial was described as being 4'11' tall and weighing 147 pounds, with brown eyes and black ...
