In the days leading up to Christmas, a mother's holiday shopping was tragically interrupted by the news of her son's death. Twenty-one-year-old Devon Isaiah Sandusky, a Black male, was found deceased in his Lexington, Kentucky, home on December 17, 2021. He had been shot in the head, a violent end to a young life that left his family and friends devastated.
